I'm in Captivate 9 and I have a few captions where the caption shows in Captivate but it does not show the text until I click on the caption. When I publish it, sometimes the caption is there but with no text. 😞 I've tried Arrange>Bring to Front and things like that and it'll seem to work once and then I open the captivate file again and again I see the caption but no text until I click on it... The caption is like all my other captions so I don't know what's going on with it. Thanks for any help you can give.
Can you check the exact version number? It should be 9.0.2.437.
Are the captions static or dynamic? Dynamic means that variables are inserted in the text.
Which theme do you use? Is it a theme created originally in this version of Captivate or is it an upgrade theme? Did you edit the object style for the caption? Which font are you using?
The captions are static and are a standard one (Halo Yellow) using Ariel Regular 16 point bold. Some of these were pulled from older captivate versions and some were not... It just seems to be random when it does it. I can fix it and generate it so it plays correctly and then later I go back and it has the same problem. I've been dealing with it, but just wondered if there's an issue already out there. And yes, I'm on that version you mentioned. I've also had trouble with some of the files not saving the Project Title on ones that I did a Save As on and then changed title to publish... this is of course a different issue, but it also is just random.
