Captivate 9 Text to Speech Backup

Participant ,

Unfortunately syncing with the cloud is blocked and in order to upgrade to the latest version, the current version has to be uninstalled and the new version installed. I understand most of the important settings will be saved to the project files but not everything such as Text to Speech.

Any recommendations on files I should make sure to grab to preserve the time I have spent adding and editing words in the Text to Speech application or any other files I should make sure to backup before Captivate is uninstalled and reinstalled?

Thank you

Have you created custom dictionaries for Text To Speech, or only used the functionality within Captivate?

If you've created custom themes, widgets, JavaScript files, or modified default HTML files within the application folder structure, those should all be copied before removal.

Thank you for the reply.

I have added quite a few words to the dictionary and am not sure what all I need to backup before the uninstall and reinstall in order to retain all the words I have added. Is it just the dictionary file itself or more?

For everything else I have a few custom themes but haven't got to the point of modifying anything else... yet.
