Can text to audio be created in the video or does this need to be inserted prior to creating video?

Are you talking about a video demo (cpvc) created in Captivate?

Yes, I am in video cpvc.  Can I go back and add the text to speech?

I always record my VO, never use TTS. This is my work flow, maybe it can help:

  1. I record the video, while speaking the text I will insert later on after having recorded it in Audition. Reason is to have video movements timed almost to the audio.
  2. I record the audio, you could replace that by creating the TTS.
  3. Then I replace the temporary audio by the final one.

I am sorry, I do not have Audition.  I do have a microphone.  Do I record on a blank slide first or in the video slide?

You can record in Captivate or in Audacity, which is free.
