captivate accessibility tabbing error:

Hot fix does not work for me: I followed directions on the Mac and I also see that my version is 9.0.0.223, which according to directions shows the hotfix. however i still get the 2046 error. I downloaded hot fix, put files in folder, cleared prefs and see the version is 223 now.

9.0.0.223 is not the version after the hot fix is installed. It should be 9.0.0.230. It is a manual install, which apparently didn't succeed for you, cannot you get someone more skilled in IT help you out? You have to replace several files in the Captivate installation folder, which means that you need administrator rights.
