Captivate draft color picker

New Here ,

If I am in the wrong forum please let me know.

Hi all,

I'm using Adobe Captivate Draft to storyboard a possible project.  In trying to change the background color I found Themes and My Library and the Color Picker.

Questions:

1) next to the color picker is a + sign.  Does anyone know what it does?

2) How does one populate the My Library tab and what can you populate it with?

Thanks,

Will

It is confusing, perfectly aware of that.

My Library is what can be used/created in other CC applications. My Library is what can be used/created in other CC applications. Libraries are common to many CC applications like Photoshop,Illustrator... to mention two of the best known, very useful if you want to reuse same assets and color palettes over those applications. If you don't have a CC account, and are only working with Captivate (draft and full), it has not much signification, except perhaps for storing color themes (beware: not the color theme palettes of Captivate full) that you create from within Captivate Draft (not only in Adobe Color app or desktop application).  But once you are in Captivate itself, you'll need to create a full theme color palette. I wrote some articles about creation of such a palette in Captivate, but have to update because it is now no longer possible to save a palette created in Color to a file, only way to import it in Captivate full. I thought that the + button would add a color palette or a chosen color to the Library, but it is not working for me. I will explore more, because I haven't used Captivate Draft since I bought a Surface Pro where I have access to the full CP-application. If I find out, will post about the + sign as well.

The issue is that My Library (or any other CC Library) is not available in normal cptx-projects, only in Captivate Draft. I sincerely hope to get access to those libraries in cptx-files as well in a future version, but at this moment it is not the case. And maybe the nice touch features for drawing that are available in Captivate Draft will once make it to the full application, like they dit with Adobe Illustrator. Day-dreaming.
