Why can't I adjust the preview of a responsive project using 'preview'?  I can use the slider while I am still developing, but when I go to preview it will only show me the desktop view.

Can you show a screenshot of the Preview mode? Which browser do you use?

I'm working from home today, so can't show a screenshot but I will try to put one up tomorrow.  Basically it displays a regular desktop preview of the project without the slider at the top.  I have watched a number of youtube videos showing the slider bar in the preview window, so I wondered if it was a setting I was missing.

I'm using Chrome, but I'm experiencing the same thing in Firefox and IE.

I don't see the browser interface. If tis is a responsive project, and you choose Preview Project, this is normally the result:

Thats what seems to be the problem.

Hmm, not sure that this is the cause but look at the URL: you are not using "localhost" which is the normal path for previewig in browsernt but maybe a networked drive. Do you have a roaming profile?

I do have a roaming profile, but I have changed the default locations to C:
