Has anyone else encountered an issue where the published HTML files work fine in Chrome, but problematic in Safari. The animations are not smooth in Safari and audio files are not playing. I am not seeing the same issues when using Chrome. There also seems to be loading issues and the file becomes frozen in Safari.

Safari has been mentioned quite a number of times in this forum for issues with Captivate's output. I never recommend its use for that reason. I just mention this since I watch  this forum daily since over a decade. Apple has built in lot of limitations especially concerning audio clips.

Thanks for the response. I saw a few posts that were older and didn't know if this was still the case.

Google Chrome and MS Edge are now virtually identical browsers built on the same underlying code platform.  So, it has become very unusual to experience any differences between them when it comes to HTML5 playback.

If users are reporting different behaviour between their Chrome browser and their Edge browser, but both are up to date, the usual reason is that preferences on one of the browsers has been configured differently at the user end.

Apple Safari is a whole different animal and any web developer will tell you that the fact your HTML5 media content works fine in Chrome or Edge is no guarantee that Safari will do the same.
