Capturing the score in an assessment swf file.

I am creating a software simulation with a demo, practice and assessment. I published these files as separate swf files and embedded them as sections in a new Captivate file. My intent is to get the learners watch a demo, practice and take the assessment. Once they take the assessment and obtain the desired score, they receive a score and the course is marked as complete. How do I accomplish this? How can I get the LMS to capture the scores in that assessment swf file? Any assistance is appreciated.

It is not a good idea to embed Captivate generated SWF's in a main Captivate file at all. It leads to many problems as you could see if exploring the forums. It is not recommended at all to use this work flow.

Better approach is to have all slides in one file. That would make it possible to achieve what you want, using advanced actions, custom navigation. I even wonder if it is possible with the setup you are using at this moment, exchanging the system variable from the child SWF to the main SWF. The Demo part could eventually be published to mp4 and inserted that way, but the training and assessment simulation needs to be inserted as slides in the file.
