Closed captions required when content on slide?

To be 508 compliant, do you still need closed captions if you have the text of the narrator on the actual slide?

Thanks!

Hi,

Personally I don't think so.

I think you need to double check if you need to have your content 'readable' by an assiting software.

It's more important when you have audio, you don't create Closed Captions for text
