CP-license on two PCs?

New Here ,
Feb 29, 2016 Feb 29, 2016

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to use one licensing code on two PCs?

Please understand me correctly: it will not be a simultanous use of CP.

As I am working as a freelancer, I have a laptop and a desktop.

While on the road, I want to use CP on my laptop.

But in my office I want  to use CP there too on my desktop, because that machine has a lot more Gigs and RAM than my laptop.

Stated differently: is it possible to turn the licensing code on/off on a machine, so you can (de)activate it on antother machine?

Maurice

Are you talking about a perpetual license or a subscription license? Since you mention 'licensing code' I suspect the first. It is still the same: you can install it on two systems, without having to deactivate. Only when you install on a third system you'll have to deactivate on one of the other two.

Hi there

Of course the final word will come from Adobe. I know before they introduced Captivate as a monthly subscription, you had that option available to you. But I'm no longer sure about it since they moved to the "monthly" type of subscriptions. The licensing may have changed.

Cheers... Rick
