That sounds a bit strange.  Normally clicking the slide when the feedback captions are visible will move to the next slide.

Are you sure you're not confusing the fact that there are two clicks involved because the user first has to click the Submit button to invoke the Feedback and then click again to quit feedback and move to the next slide?  That's Captivate's normal behaviour.  The only way to have only one click to get to the next slide is to turn off the feedback captions.  Then clicking Submit will take you to the next slide immediately.

Thanks for replying Rod. To close the feedback box I click once. Then  I have to click again to go to the next slide.

I am also experiencing another issue since my first question.

I need to make CP7 as accessible as possible, but when I include keyboard shortcuts for "Submit" and "Clear" buttons they become completely inactive. Is this weird? Or is version 7 just not accessible in the Quizzing function? I can use keyboard shortcuts for all other buttons in the module so it seems strange to me.

That's not typical functionality for any version of Captivate.  I just created a simple Cp7 blank project with two quiz questions and checked.  I think there's something radically wrong with your project.

Try creating a new blank project and check the functionality.

was this ever figured out? I have the same problem: click twice and i'm just using default quiz slide. I get the "correct" response, click next the response goes away but i don't move to next slide. click next again and i finally move.

What are the actions in Properties for Success/Last Attempt. Did you move the pausing point, did you increase the slide duration for some reason? This blog post explains design Question slides.
