CP8: Highlight over answer options is misaligned to text

Could you please assist a beginner in CP8.

In the Quiz slides the answer options A, B, C (multiple choice) are highlighted in grey when you make your selection after publishing. The publish settings are 2004 3rd edition html only. The grey highlights when rolling over answer options are not aligned to the text answers.

How could I correct this?

Can you please give more detail about what output format you are using and show a screenshot of the issue you see?

Apologies for the delay. The output format is SCORM 2004 3rd edition with HTML only selected. Here is an example of what I see when uploading the SCORM package to an LMS. It must be related to settings as it does not happen in the other files and I have compared all the settings I can between files, but clearly I am missing something. Thanks for the assistance.

OK.  I can see the issue.  I suggest you try uploading the same content to SCORM Cloud LMS and see if the issue is identical there.  If not, then I would say it's some incompatibility with your LMS player that is causing this. If the issue is the same in SCORM Cloud, log a bug with Adobe.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I loaded and tested the same SCORM package on SCORM Cloud LMS and the issue was identical.

I am sure I am missing something very simple within the Captivate file as I am not seeing the same in different files even though the settings are the same. I will continue to try and find the resolution otherwise log a bug with Adobe.

If the same issue is NOT present with other similar projects then you may have a corrupted project file.

You can try copying slides from your current project into a new blank project shell.  Sometimes that will strip out the corruption. 

It could also be your THEME that is corrupted.  So try changing to a different theme and see if that fixes it.

Otherwise you may just need to rebuild your project.

You can log a bug with Adobe but unless something is happening to ALL projects, they may just classify it as a corruption issue.

I think I found the solution. The grey highlight when you hover over the

answer options surely only has a set height, width and position? It seems

if the text exceeds that size and positioning, then I experience this

problem.

Then I suggest you log it as a bug.  The highlighted area should match the text regardless of its size.
