CP9 Audio and Closed Captioning disappear half way through project

Updated an older presentation to CP9.  About halfway through after the student has been presented with some random questions the audio and closed captioning quits playing.  The slides show up but the audio that appears on the timeline isn't playing and the associated closed captioning isn't showing.  Any ideas on what is wrong and how to fix it?

Can you show a screenshot of the timeline of the first question slide?

I'll get one but there isn't any sound on any of the question slides.  Audio is only on the content slides before and after each set of random question slides.
