CP9: Captivate Draft cannot open review link in email

Community Beginner ,

Following along with Pooja's webinar "What's New in Adobe Captivate 9", I tried the email review. It sent the email successfully. The email was received and after logging in with Google+ (Is this really necessary? Clients will find it annoying) it brings me to a page that says: Adobe Captivate Draft is unable to authorize you for reviewing this project. Click here to go to homepage.

It also has a ridiculous-looking graphic. Any idea why this isn't working?

Thanks.

Hi,

Reasons you can encounter this page are :

1. You are trying to access the project link without logging in to the same ID to which you have send it from your iPad.

2. If your URL is not correct

Please check email ID again in Draft app.

To do this :

1. Select a project which you have sent for review by long pressing the project tile. ('under review' project has green Icon thumbnail )

2. Select the 3rd option from the right to see the reviewer's list.

3. Verify the email ID is correct. (If that reviewer has accessed the project link , email ID will be replaced by emailID account name )

4. Open a new tab in your browser. ( I am assuming you are logged in with the correct email ID) and type in the url "cpreview.adobe.com"

5. A list of projects will be shown.

6. Click on your project and start reviewing.

Thanks,

Thanks for responding tarunjain.

I guess I am confused, I assumed that sending by email would be to a client, in other words, someone without my ID! I guess that reviewers must first be added? Perhaps I need to go back and look at it again.

I must admit I feel the whole logging in through Adobe IDs adds a layer of annoyance to those who may not have an Adobe ID.

Cheers.

Hi FBSBL,

You got that right!

You must first add your reviewers email ID while sending the project for review.

Also if once sent, you can still add more reviewers.

For more information , Please go through this help page : Adobe Captivate Help | Review and collaboration in Adobe Captivate Draft

Happy Drafting!

Thanks
