CP9 Properties options disappearing.

I found an answer to this before and it worked but now I can't find that answer.

I have a smart shape I'm using as a text box won't show any of the fill properties.

I thought the answer before was to close the project and clear the cache but that didn't work this time.

Resetting workspace? Restarting Captivate, system? Last possibility: Clean Preferences.
