I created from a SVG image a tween animation. How do I get this into Captivate?
I have exported is as a animated gif but all I get is the first frame. No animation once I import it into captivate.
These are all Adobe programs they should work seemlessly, but they obviously don not!

It is an illusion that Adobe applications should work seamlessly together, especially CC applications with a non-CC app because they are developed by totally different teams. Maybe Adobe has become too big. The roundtripping with Photoshop, Audition has been broken so often.
There are problems with animated GIF's in the latest versions of Captivate. I used to develop them in Photoshop, but lately only very simple animated GIFs are functional.
Did you try to export the animation as an OAM? It can be imported directly in Captivate with Media, HTML5 animation. It seems to work better than animated GIFs

OAM. I do not see that as an option. I have the option of Image, Movie, Video or Animated GIF

It is a HTML animation, you have to switch to HMTL5 Canvas in Animate CC. It was much easier to create an OAM in Edge Animate but Adobe decided to stop development of Edge family, and you need now to create the OAM in Animate CC (which is overkill in my opinion). Here is some information:
