Custom TOC

Hi,

I set up a custom TOC, using smartshapes and grouping them. When I try to set the time as "rest of the project", and view from slide, CP crashes and doesn't show the slides.

Any ideas?

What about if you publish the entire project and try to view the content afterward?  Does it crash then?

is it crashing because the timeline is updated to a large complex group ?

it just gives me a blank slide. It works in I preview it in HTML5

Here is the screenshot it gives me when I set a custom TOC with advanced actions to change colors of visited modules to "rest of project". It works if I have it as rest of slide.

This looks to me like something about your custom TOC is conflicting with the Skin.

Check the naming convention you have used for all of the objects and groups in your custom TOC, variables, and Advanced Actions.  Make sure there are no special punctuation characters, spaces, and no reserved keywords.

Thank you. I'll check the names. I am pretty sure they are unique, but you never know. Also it works when I preview it in HTML5.

What did you use to create this custom TOC?

What happens if you create a new blank project with several slides and add your custom TOC to that project?  Does it also react the same way.

Hi,

I managed to make it work. I can even hide/show the buttons with advanced actions. However, I created a series of buttons at the bottom of the screen, like a NAVBAR.

It all works when I test it in HTML5.

Which version? Responsive or non-responsive project? For responsive projects with Fluid Boxes grouping is ot supported.
