Cutting/Pasting Issue in Captivate

Have you ever noticed that *sometimes*, when you attempt to copy an object and paste it using keyboard shortcuts (or the right click short cut menu options) - that Captivate can't seem to remember to clear the copy/paste buffer from the last copy/paste?  "Sometimes" it will fail to empty the paste buffer in memory.  The only way to empty it is to save the project, close captivate, and re-open it.  Anyone else experience this or have any remedies?

Yes many times. Have even seen the menu greyed out for paste even though it has something in the clipboard. Would command v and it would paste.
