Hello, all. I seem to be having an issue with the text formatting of the rollover state. When in State View, and trying to fix the formatting, there is no option in the Properties panel to align.
Anyone else run into this, and/or know of a fix?
Thanks!
Adam

Since you talk about Rollover states, you mean an InBuilt state for an interactive object, correct?
Those states are pretty limited: their size and location is locked to the Normal state. Can you explain what you want to align? I am using the New guides a lot.
Same for shortcut keys after duplicating to move to exact locations.
I see that the Align panel is available when you are in the States panel: try to open it with Window, Align.
Another terminology problem: you are probably talking about the paragraph formatting, right?
When using text in states, I tend to put all the text in one state, then copy/cut/paste what is necessary. There are some limitations in text formatting.
Double-checked: I do have paragraph formatting in the Rollover state of a shape button. Which interactive object are you talking about?

Thanks, Lilybiri. I am using a transparent button, and would like the text in Rollover state to be centered (top/bottom and left/right).

You choose a button type which has states for the first time in CP9. FYI: the states are not functional on Quiz/Score slides. AFAIK there is no way to change the alignment for the label on this button. You can perfectly recreate the 'looks' of such a button with a shape button which will have all formatting available. Same is the case for the other 'old' type of button 'Text button'.

Thanks! I believe I figured it out! In State view, hover over the State in question, and right click. Then, choose Reset State and the formatting aligns.

Still I misunderstood! You are not talking about changing the alignment in a state, compared with the Normal state, but about that other bug, where the alignment is not preserved (also happens with shape buttons). Sorry, to me it always feels like English has too little words in its dictionary Now I understand what you mean, could have given you that advice hours ago, but thought you wanted to change alignment in the different states. My bad..
