Developing with Captivate 9 on a Mac (OS X 10), Deploying on a PC (Windows 7). Thoughts?

I am starting a project using Captivate 9 on my Mac (OS X 10.10.5) and the client has determined their target presentation platform is a PC with Windows 7.

Are there known issues when following this conversion path - or should I access a PC and convert my Captivate 9 subscription to a Windows version? Are there limitations in Mac OS X, if any? I have CC2015 for Mac and it works well, but I do not export programs like I would with Captivate.

What implications are there for sharing development with someone else, such as a freelancer, who may work on a PC? Is there a place to share assets, etc.?)

I've developed a few interactive programs, but not with this Adobe tool-set. I'm looking for insight from experienced developers.

Thanks for your thoughts.

One of the issues you can run into is that Captivate remembers file paths for objects inserted into the project from the developer's computer.  So paths for images, audio, video, and even the preloaders from the Captivate install directory are all retained in the project CPTX data.  When you are mixing development among a number of different OSs (e.g. MAC - Windows)  this can sometimes cause minor issues.  As long as you know to look for it though, you can generally work around it.

Do you have any feedback about your experience now that you've (presumably) worked on or completed the project? I would be curious to know.
