Disappearing text

I have created a responsive project and it has images and text boxes and/or shapes. I have started working on the project again today, after saving and shutting down on friday and all was good, BUT now all of the text has disappeared!

This is not the first time this has happened, however, previously I have lost the entire project. Our ITsystems have been able to find the back-up file and re-load for me, but this time it is just the text that has disappeared.

Please help - any ideas?

Are you running Captivate as administrator? Are the folders to the projects and to the cache stored on your system, not on a networked drive?

Hi, no I am not running as an administrator. The folders are on a network system. I've had issues before so I have wondered if it is more to do with the network, rather then the Captivate program. Is there something you can suggest I talk to our IT people about to stop this loss of work??

Both can cause issues. Run Captivate as administrator (is not the same as having administrator rights on your system) using the right-click menu on the launch icon. And working on projects stored on a networked drive can cause lot of problems. Copy the project to your system (check the paths both for projects and cache in Preferences), edit it and after saving load up a copy to the networked drive.
