Hello.
I was wondering if anyone can help me with playback issues for Captivate tutorials in Chrome. The tutorial plays fine in Firefox with no issues. There are only issues in Chrome. We all have the latest version of Chrome and all experience the same issue when watching the tutorial. We are all on PCs.
A slide that is set to "pause" visually stops at the very end as it should, but then the audio of the next slide plays for about 3 seconds before stopping. We want this slide to pause completely, not start playing the next slide's audio. Then when you manually click the forward button to go to the next slide, the audio begins where you left off. This can be very confusing and frustrating for viewers watching this tutorial.
I have multiple slides set up and they all have their own separate mp3 audio files. Playback in Firefox and in Captivate's preview work just fine.
It only happens in the sections where we have a few slides that are set to "continue" followed by one slide that is set to "pause." When it gets to that last slide that is set to "pause," it accidentally starts playing a bit of the next slide.
Please help? Thanks!
Make sure the audio clips for each slide are NOT touching the ends of the slides. There should be a slight gap of at least one tenth of a second.
