Greetings!
Does Presenter 11 have something like variables? In other words some object I can set on one slide and on another, check the status of that object and then show/hide a screen object based on the value of that object.
Example: A menu slide that has 10 topics. Click a topic and the course jumps to a particular PPT slide where that topic begins. On the last slide of the topic, the "NEXT" button hyperlinks back to the menu. That part is easy, but what I want to do is, on the menu slide, show a checkmark (or similar graphic) to show that topic has been complete. If the content is forced to be linear, then this is easy. But the content needs to be free selection by the learner (choose their topic of interest, in any order).
This can easily be done in Captivate, but we want to stay in PowerPoint and use Presenter (there is over 20 hours of classroom material, all in PowerPoint, that is going to be converted to online learning).
Thanks!!
