In Drag and Drop (Captivate 2017) I have successfully created and previewd a project containing drag and drop question pages. However, when I publish this in SCORM (1.2 and 2004) and embed onto Moodle (version 2.3.1), the drag and drop question pages are not allowing users to drag more than one item before continuing to the next slide.
I have not changed anything in the properties inspector from the standard template and settings; although I did try changing the actions to On Success: Go to the next slide from "Continue" - but with either option I get the same result.
I have attached two images. The first shows one question page - as I said, I select and hold down with the mouse, the slide moves on before I can drag all the items into the correct order.
The second image shows the Actions setting for another question page (same settings on both) though.
Any help with this would be very much appreciated.
Many thanks,
Ian

Can you test if this also happens on SCORM Cloud? That would clarify if the problem is due to the LMS or to Captivate.

Hi Lilybiri,
Thanks for the advice, I have tested this and have the same problem in SCORM Cloud. Do you know which settings I might need to adjust in Captivate to test this?
Many thanks in advance,
Ian

That confirms that something is wrong with the setup in Captivate.
It is a bit confusing, will have to ask several questions:

Thanks Lilybiri,
It is a question slide, yes; a Sequence slide with a Drag Drop answer type.
It is a responsive project, yes. I have customised the theme from a responsive template but haven't deleted any objects, just adjusted colours and added graphics here and there, nothing technical as I'm still learning.
I have attached some more screen grabs of the master slide and question slide in the project view, with timelines so I hope this gives more clues? The pausing point is there though I am not sure whether this is in the right place or not. I haven't moved it from the template.
I did start reading your article but I think it's a little beyond my technical understanding at present - I
will definitely come back to that though so thank you for pointing your blog out for me.
Many thanks again for helping me with this.

...The other odd thing is that it works fine when I preview the slides in Safari, it only stops working properly in SCORM cloud or Moodle.
Not sure if that helps to know?
Many thanks,

The pausing point is OK. But I see big differences between the master slide and the slides: on the master slides the feedback messages are almost all taken out from the static fluid box. Same for the Review area. The answer area is much wider in the master slide than in the quiz slide. Are you sure that the theme you were customizing was an original CP2017 theme? Sorry to insist.
How did you set up the sequence itself? I just double-checked, created a sequence slide (Theme was OldPaper) with 5 sentences, and it worked fine. Can you test a small new project, set up one sequence slide in an exisiting theme to see if it works?
You have attempts set to Infinite, is this a Knowledge Check Slide?

Is it a KC slide? Did you set up reporting?

Thanks Lilybiri,
Actually if I remember I do think this template was created from scratch. I added sequence slides and adjusted the reporting preferences a little along the way. I need to have infinite attempts as this is for students who will be retaking these resources as many times as is needed, though will only be 'completing' when 100% of the quizzes therein are passed.
I will try creating these slides from scratch in another new project and see what happens. I'm not well-versed with the intricacies of fluid boxes yet and find them a little problematic for designing for Moodle and mobile devices because I need to improve my knowledge of these first. I have unlinked a lot of objects from the fluid boxes to make it easier to design as I want to keep the design simple anyway, so should probably jus not use the responsive feature until I can improve my working with fluid boxes.
I'll get back to you once I have tried a few things.
Many thanks again for all your help,
Ian

That is a good idea! Fluid Boxes need some time to make the 'mental switch' because it is a different way of design. Unlocking objects from fluid boxes (as I expected had happened) will screw up the idea of being fluid. You will not be able to predict how the layout will behave on different screen sizes.
