drag items hide in preview next 5 slides, but not in HTMLS in browser

I have created an interactive drag and drop with many phrases being sorted into two boxes.  I created an advanced action that hides the drag item and displays something else when dropped into the correct bin.  It works when I preview the next 5 slides, but not when I preview HTMLS in browser.  Please Help.

Upload your HTML5 content to a web server and test it from there.  You may find it works fine.

Can you show a screenshot of the object action that you use? Is it a responsive or a normal project? If it is a normal project, can you check also In Browser (SWF output)?

It is a normal project.  It has been published and uploaded to a website, and it still isn't hiding the bubble.

How are you executing this Shared Action?  With On Slide Enter?

No. It is under format...object actions. There is an action assigned to

each of 6 bubbles.

Was not awake really. You cannot hide slides on runtime at all. Although

you can define them as parameter, they will only work with the command Jump

to Slide.You puzzled me because this will also not wotk in Preview on

Browser or in HTML browser.

Okay.  Now I am confused.  i am not hiding slides.  I have a slide that looks like this:

When the thought bubble is dragged and dropped in between the two people, it is supposed to disappear and reveal the text associated with that slide.  It does work in the preview next 5 slides, but it doesn't as the published version up on the website.

OK, picture is not yet complete to me. What is happening when you use

Preview in HTML browser amd which exact version are you using? Is the D&D

validated? I suspect you left Accept all checked?

When I use the preview in HTMLS in browser, the text shows, but the

conversation bubble that was dropped is still present behind the text...but

when I preview next 5, the conversation bubbles dropped in between the two

people disappear, and the text I want to show is revealed. I am using

Captivate 8. I'm not sure what you mean by the D&D being validated. I did

leave Accept all checked, because all of the bubbles are dropped into the

same drop box.

To have the drag source disappear, use either (or both) the Alpha and Scale

options in D&D panel.

I don't see them as options. Where would I find them?

You have to select the target object, and find it in the Snap section of

the D&D panel. You can also have the drop source disappear behind the

target.
