I would like to design an online portfolio of interactive products I am creating through Adobe Captivate and Articulate. Which platform would be best? I was thinking Square Space and get a url OR I heard of people using Captivate itself to create a portfolio there. Any thoughts/suggestions welcome! Thanks in advance.

A published eLearning course is made up of various folders and files. Web hosting services like Squarespace, Wix, or Weebly usually only allow you to upload a single file and most sites are no longer permitting SWF files to be uploaded.
My website is hosted by Squarespace but when I wish to add an eLearning sample to my site for prospective clients, I use the method outlined in this video tutorial.
Adobe Captivate – Publishing Your Project on Amazon S3
Then I simply link to the index.html file from my website. From the end users perspective, most are unaware that they have arrived at a new location from the web. My Squarespace account is a paid service, however, while there is potential I may get a bill some day of millions of people view my projects on Amazon S3, so far that hasn't happened.

Paul, thanks for being a life-saver! I'm thinking I can create a website (through Squarespace) and just link from Amazon/Cloudberry. Do you mind sharing your website so I can take a look?
I'm thinking of creating thumbnails of my instructional/e-products and creating a link to the Captivate project.
Thanks so much!

Send me a private message and I will send you a link. I keep the portfolio stuff private. Fill out the form on my Hire Me page and I will respond via email.

When you publish through Amazon, are you able to download data from users? What they enter in boxes, click on, quiz scores?

No it's just playback of your eLearning module.

I have a basic webhosting package with an ISP. I created two subdomains; one contains a WordPress blog (that was a free add-on as part of the hosting bundle), and I use the other subdomain to upload sample files and files for client review during development.

I utilise a number of options at the moment, each of which depends on the level of detail that I'm wanting to share.
First and foremost, I have a managed WordPress account. This is useful for dumping a Captivate project into through SFTP but, really, it's not ideal. I'm in the process of integrating the LearnDash LMS on there as a way of more directly demonstrating my various products, but I'm at the beginning of the process. (In the long run, if it can be proven useful, I'll try and integrate an LRS, too.)
Github can be useful, too, if you've got a standard Captivate (or other) project that you want to demo. The limitations here are that any file of 100 Mb or more is going to fail. At that point you'll find out that you can host large files but, in the end, you'll also find out that they don't get served over gh-pages, which is what you need to do to make your project "web live."
Amazon S3 is something that I'm exploring at the moment given how locked down some LMS' can be.
