Hi All,
I'm working on a template to create quizzes in captivate 2017. While I have got all the functionality down, I've fallen on the design hurdle.
I'm importing questions from a GIFT file (about 35 - 50 questions depending on the test) but I cannot edit the answer item placeholder via the master slide and its making this task impossible.
I've read a post by the fantastic Lilybiri saying that it couldn't be done in captivate 9, I was wondering if this is still the case in 2017 since this is a huge spanner in my works since doing them all manually is not an option.
Thanks All!
Maybe I was not clear in that blog post, because at this moment it is not possible to increase the height of the individual answer captions on the quizzing master slides, which is a big frustration since version 6. You can only increase the height of the answer area on the master slides, which will probably be necessary if you have long answers. That part of the design has to be done on the individual quiz slides. I logged a feature request for the nth time to have this work flow improved. It n

Please, don't use a template but a theme! Too much issues with templates still in CP2017.

I don't remember answering that question about GIFT and quiz master slides, can you refresh my memory? It would be good to double-check if this is still the case (which I fear it is)? Explain in detail what you want to change to the master slides as well, please.

Thanks for your response. I wasn't very clear in my question my apologies.
You had a discussion with an editor here about the topic.
You also made a very helpful blog post here.
What I'm trying to do is increase the size of the Answer Item Placeholder on the master slide so the answers can be longer but not be cut off or bring up a "Read more" icon.
Thanks.

A workaround can be to create one question slide with the necessary editing and duplicate that question slide as many times as you need it (CTRL-D) to keep that formatting. You cannot do it using the master slide which is a pity.
