elearning bros assets

I have a problem with assets. I can open up the browser and navigate to the elearning bros free assets. I can also select a cutout person and select to download it. I even receive a confirmation message on screen to say it has been downloaded to assets>characters. However the character is not there when i look. This is a relatively recent thing as I have previously used this method with no problem. 

I can download themes and templates, etc - the issue seems to be contained to the individual cut out people models

Also, I can't see any obvious way on the interface to delete characters from the assets screen once they are no longer needed.

Thanks for any ideas as to how to resolve this.

If you are on 2017, there is a hotfix available. But you have to ask for it.

A hot fix? 

I just applied a "hot fix " a month ago to address an issue with scorm packages hanging upon loading up in an LMS player. In fact, it seems to me that this issue with elearning bros assets has only come about since implementing that last hot fix.

I am currently on 10.0.0.220

Is there a new one?

Sorry, I am just a user, thought that the issues with those characters were there from the start of 2017. I cannot help you more, have installed several hotfixes already, cannot double check.

hi there,

i had the same issue.  What worked for me was downloading the character (avatar in my case) from this site: https://library.elearningbrothers.com  i then went to my downloads on my computer and then dragged the downloaded character to my files.  I was able to insert the character into my project using the media>images path.

Hi, and thanks for this. Yes, I too can go to eLearning Bros directly and get the assets from there - but it doesn't address the point that the in-app tool for accessing the content is not working as it should. 🙂
