Features of Cp8

Hello everyone,

I have few question about captivate 8

I wanted to know if captivate 8 has the functionality of creating glossary and literature reference inside the course as a built in object?

Moreover, is it possible that multi users can edit the same course at the same time (multi user functionality or collaborative authoring)?

Finally, does captivate 8 allow learners to print the course in PDF or doc

It would be great if you @include references to your answers ! Many thanks in advance !

There is a Glossary interaction, but probably not what you expect. It is not a glossary like you can generate in desktop publishers like InDesign.

No collaboration feature.

You can print handouts, a storyboard, lesson, step-by-step but all to Word. It is easy to turn that document into a pdf. You can directly create a pdf with Captivate but that will be an interactive PDF, just another way to have all interactivity that you find in SWF and HTML5 output. That is not meant for printing.

Finally: references? You can screen the Help documentation.

So you can include print options when designing the course, including PDF or DOC ?

You can include a print widget, or use JS to allow printing directly from the course. That is something different from offering a PDF (which you can do as well) or a DOC-file. You can insert links to whatever file you want in Captivate tutorials.
