Can you explain better? You can publish to SWF, to HTML, to SCO, to EXE (or APP), to an interactive pdf, to a mobile app. If you publish to SWF you'll get a companion HTM, a CSS and a JS file. If you publish to HTML you'll get a folder with several subfolders. If you publish to SCO you get a folder with subfolders and including all necessary SCORM files. Easiest ones are the EXE(APP), and pdf's: only one file.

sorry I did not pose questions correctly. When you publish and you have all of your folders and files such as mp4, png etc what other file types are used? I need to get my elearning onto staff intranet via a sharepoint 2013 site however when I try and uploads the folder it says cannot transfer these files and doesn't say which ones. I'm just wondering if our lockdown sharepint site doesn't like a certain file type that captivate generates. hence id like to get a list of all possible file exts used.

Cannot you just show the extensions by editing the settings of the OS? I make extensions visible whenever I install a new Windows PC.

You may run into issues when trying to have Captivate published e-learning running from a SharePoint server. You really need to have it run from a proper WEB server. SharePoint tends to behave more like a FILE server.
