Flash Player EOL Affection Executable Output

Community Beginner ,

Hello,

will Adobe support executable output in future? The feature is all but useless now without Flash Player support.

What are the next steps for those of us who want executable output?

Thanks.

As far as I am aware there has been no information from Adobe about any replacement for EXE output.  Given that most virus checking software will flag an EXE as a potential virus it's always been a bit of a problem to support it.  So I doubt very much whether there will be an EXE or SWF output in the next version of Captivate.

I tend to agree with Rod, get contradictory information when asking about EXE. A couple of weeks ago a user contacted Adobe Help and they claimed that EXE would remain. However, I have asked also myself, and heard that it wouldn't be supported in the future. Sorry about the confusion.
