Can you use the Captivate "States" feature with fluid boxes? I find I can create states for a Media object in a fluid box but I can't bring in other media for the additional States. The Media Menu is Greyed out.
Any thoughts about this?

About which type of Media are you talking? I tried it out with Images, first unlocked from the Fluid box, to be able to resize the image, than created several states with different images, and locked the multi-state image again to the Fluid box.
BTW I never used the Media button, always drag assets like images from the Library. But when the object is unlocked from the FB, only the Audio button is greyed out in the Media dropdown list. Reason: you can only add one audio clip to an object, not to each state.

Lilybiri, thank you for your response.
I see now that you have to unlock the media from Fluid boxes to be able to work in States mode and bring in more Media. If I don't do that the Media Menu is Greyed out. To someone new to fluid boxes like myself it is not obvious to do this. Now that I can get in States mode again and bring in Media I think I'm not understanding how to lock that media again with the multi-states into the fluid box again. I tried unchecking "unlock from Fluid box" but that doesn't seem to do it. The object in the fluid box have these resizing lines which I don't really understand how to use. So I think I'm not understanding the last step which is how to lock the multi-state object (image) into the fluid box again.

I just unchecked 'Unlock from Fluid Box', nothing else. Everyone is new to Fluid Boxes, me included, I'm just a user as well.

For everyone out there that may be having the same challenge as I have with Fluid Boxes and States is to bring in the multiple states of the Media through "the Library." You won't be able to bring in the Media through the "Media Menu" because it will be Grey out. So it's nice to see you can still use States with Fluid Boxes, you just have to know it works a little differently, but it works!
