For some reason the html markup is showing in scrolling text box

The strange thing is that it only seems to happen after the first time viewing a screen. In other words, the first time I view a screen it looks great, but if I return to the screen with the scrolling text box Learning Interaction, the markup suddenly appears. I am using Captivate 9. Please help!

UPDATE:

I figured out that the problem is with the new Microsoft Edge browser. The issue only happens in Edge. FYI.

Edge browser is not fully supported, which version of CP do you use?

You may have included some punctuation marks in your text content inserted into the interaction that has thrown the HTML5 code into a tizzy and now you are seeing code where you should not.

Check your text at around the point where the code starts appearing.  Look for any punctuation characters that could potentially be causing the issue.  These could include chevrons, hashes, apostrophes etc.
