Hello,
I'm working with Adobe Captivate 2017, and I'm experiencing a recurring problem.
Basically, I'm uploading PowerPoint quizzes to Captivate, and the text boxes in some of the PowerPoints are misaligned with the text they're supposed to contain, while other text boxes are faded out. These do not occur on all slides, only some random ones. They're all formatted to the default size. There does not appear to be direct overlap between the two problems -- they may occur on the same page, but a faded text box won't have misaligned text. The text boxes are all properly aligned on the PowerPoint file -- the problem only occurs after the transfer to captivate. There are no animations on the problematic slides in the PowerPoint file. Is this problem insurmountable?
The problem looks like so:
Any help from the Adobe community will be deeply appreciated.

This is probably NOT what you want to hear, but...you're going to have a lot less angst when using PowerPoint with Captivate if you recreate these text boxes in Captivate rather than bringing them from the PPT side.
Even better would be that you don't use PowerPoint at all and just build from the ground up in Captivate. (But you may or may not have that option if this content was created by someone else first without access to Captivate.)
The appearance of your content would suggest that your slides are mainly screencaptures taken from some software application. Is that correct? If so, is there no way you could just use Captivate to take the captures?

Thank you!
The content was created by someone else first without access to Captivate. My project is to affix quizzes to the end of the content with Captivate.
So, would a solution be to delete the text boxes in PowerPoint, and reapply them in Captivate? Where's the part of Captivate where I can make PowerPoint-style adjustments? If I can add a PowerPoint style text box in Captivate, then can I just make all of these adjustments in Captivate?

That would be my suggestion yes.
