I have strange problem with my Adobe captivate, when I am trying to import specific edited version of the audio it is importing the entire audio from where the edited audio has been taken. I don't know what is causing this issue, I renamed the audio and copied it to another folder as well. Still its not resolving the issue. I have edited the audio using audacity.
Can anyone please help.

At this moment, due to the availability of two complete different versions of Captivate, it is impossible to answer your question if I don't know which exact version and OS you are using. You find the full version number under Help, About Captivate (Win) or Captivate, About Captivate (Mac).
CP2019 has a Project Library where you could check this out, the New version hasn't that functionality.

That is indeed a buggy release, I don't use it for professional jobs, so I may have missed this.
Can you check the audio clips in the Project Library? You can listen to them, see if they are used or not... Delete all the clips which you don't want to use and check the Preview. More about Project Libraries in this blog post:

I checked them in library, its not importing the edited small files even after renaming them, its importing only the original full audio file.

Understood, this is not the expected workflow. Am I correct to understand that you did edit the clips in another application, not from within Captivate (as is normally expected) AND kept the same name for the audio clip? This works fine when editing graphics in the roundtripping with Photoshop or another graphics application, could work fine if you edited the clip from within Captivate either directly or while using the Audition roundtripping.
My approach with your atypical workflow if you want to keep to it, is to change the name for the edited audio clips because each item in Captivate (and in its Library) needs a unique name. Captivate refuses to override the item which is alrady in the Library, and maybe already attached to a slide, object or in an action. You will need to replace the original clips with the new ones, and be sure to check the Usage in the Library after finishing.
