When importing a multiple choice question with all the answers corrects (through a GIFT file), Captivate converts the MC question to a text entry question. Here's the GIFT MC question:
::Question 1::Question 1 text?
{ =answer1 =answer2 =answer 3 =answer4}
Is that a bug or does a question require at least 1 incorrect answer? The following question is correctly coded in Captivate:
::Question 1::Question 1 text?
{ ~wrong answer =answer2 =answer 3 =answer4}
And again, I am not looking to reword the question with an 'All of the above' or 'None of the above' answer. I want to be able to select all the choices to get the question correct. Thank you in advance.
Ali.

I could double-check, but want first to know which version of Captivate you are using (full number, please)?

Hi Lilybiri. I'll need to get back to you for the full number early next week, but it is Captivate 2017.

No need for CP2017, up till now it had only one release (although I have several hotfixes installed already).

Hi Lilybiri, did you get a chance to test? I also downloaded this tool swiftquizmaker | swiftquizmaker
And one requirement was to have at least one wrong answer.

Sorry for this late answer. I have indeed tested it out, and GIFT requires at least one wrong answer. The solution I use, which isn ot technical, is to add another answer 'None of the other asnwers is correct' as I did often in my career. Of course that is not a 'technical solution'.

I have the same issue - I made my GIFT file in notepad, with two questions where you need to select all answers to get it correct. In captivate 2017 they show as short answer. Does GIFT require a wrong answer as part of the format?
Not my question set & not in my language, so I'd rather have a technical solution than amend the question if possible.
Having to select all answers to get a question right seems strangely attractive in the corporate training world - can't remember seeing any in education, but it has appeared a few times for corporate clients.

OK so reply to my own comment. As ontaillou mentioned above, the GIFT file probably wants a wrong answer in multiple correct questions. So one solution...
In the GIFT file, you can add a wrong answer to the end of your string of right answers - e.g. "~dummy wrong answer". Then import the GIFT file to Captivate, and it will put the question in the right format. You can then manually change the number of responses in the quiz tab to one less, and it will remove the dummy wrong answer.
Seems to work OK...
