The subject isn't quite right, but here's what I would like to do:

I would like to set up a "go to next slide" global button that is enabled only in the last three seconds of a video (or at the very end if that is easier).  The video length on each slide varies.

I'm sure this is actually an advanced action, but I'm still at a loss on how to write the action to work in the way in which I described.  Thoughts?

Thank you!!

Lot of people would love to see an easy way to achieve this, however there is not.

Here is a possible idea, which could work provided you don't allow the learner to pause the slide. That means: no playbar, no other interactive object on the slide:

  • Create the Next button on the first slide and time it for the rest of the project, always on top.
  • Create this shared action, to be triggered On Enter for each slide:
      Hide Bt_Next
Delay Next Actions by  x  secs
      Show Bt_Next
       Continue
The two parameters are Bt_Next (compulsory) and x, which is the when you want to make the button visible which may be different for each slide.
