Glossary Errors

Hi everyone,

Just would like to ask around about an error I am encountering, specifically in creating a glossary. After publishing the module all fonts or characters suddenly change to a diamond character. I tried several ways  like uploading a word file, uploading a png or jpg, doing tweaks on the fonts like creating hidden white fonts yet nothing works. It also does not acknowledge the "apostrophe' when I use it.

Can someone help me on this?

Thanks

Sorry but I need some more information.

Can you post the exact version number you are using? It can be found under Help, About Captivate.

I suspect you are on Classic Captivate (version 11 or older) and using the Learning Interaction 'Glossary'. You need to know that it is impossible to include combination characters (like ñ  in mañana or accents like é à ...).

If you are creating a custom glossary, please explain the workflow used.

Are you working on a responsive or a non-responsive project? If it is responsive you can only use websafe or Adobe fonts (if you are not on version 12 which can only use Google fonts). If it is non-responsive do you have dynamic fields? Those are fields including variables. For those fields same rule: only websafe or Adobe fonts. You can find more details in this blog:
