Suddenly, In the last couple weeks, we are having problems with Google Chrome not playing the Background Audio in current and past HTML projects we have created but they work fine in Windows Explorer and also in the .EXE versions. It plays the narration audio fine. Has anything happened in the past couple weeks for Google updates that may cause this issue?

Today someone posted that due to the many complaints it is possible that Chrome will change it in the future. No guarantee however. I learned since a while to always uncheck AutoPlay and add a poster image to my projects, since it will not work on all mobile devices anyway. The fact that Chrome now decided to disable it also for its desktop browser was not so disturbing for me. Keep that in mind as well: mobile browsers often do not support AutoPlay.

Yes, you must have missed the many threads about Chrome having disabled AutoPlay?

You are certainly right then and I apparently have.... Never showed up in my search attempts. Resolution found or just complaints?

While not sure we will want to go back through our library, will try that for the next project. Thank you!
