Hi,

My team is working with Captivate 8 for a while, with no issues. There's a project we need to deliver ASAP, but we are not able to finalize due to an irritating white line that keeps appearing in the output file.

This is how it looks like:

I went through many threads here but found no remedy )-:

Any idea?

Thanks!

Have you tried looking at the Skin Editor > Borders area to see if there is a way to either remove the line or at least change its colour?

Hi RodWard‌

The line does not exist in the skin, it is "generated" during the publish. This project is based on a template we have been using for a while with no such issues.

I will take a look to double-check

Checked again, the skin editor is fine, and does not display this line. Any other ideas?

Can you check the main master slide? It looks like the border of a shape. Do you publish to HTML5 or to SWF?

Thanks Lilybiri‌

For now, I have copied the slides to a clean project, and it worked. I guess the issue was with the skin on this particular PC. Not sure. Anyway, now the stripes are gone. (-:

Thanks RodWard‌! looks like you were pointing the right direction. I will finalize my checks and post any interesting findings if I have

Forgot to mention, it was HTML 5

That is what I suspected because this type of problems is much more common for HTML5 than for SWF output, hence my suspicion about shape.

Yep, although I have to say that in this case we had the same issue with publishing to swf. What actually solved the problem was copping all the slides to a new project, and then selecting the same skin again. Thanks again for your help.
