I finished my project and when I published it in SWF or HTML, I noticed that some slide headers are not displayed. I tried to fix it since yesterday but in vain. any help pls, I'm presenting it in few hours to my board of directors. thanks

Can you show a screenshot of what you mean by 'Slide headers'? Or explain?

it actually messes up all my headers if I make in changes in the Master Slide.

It must be a misunderstanding about the Master slide usage, and its placeholders. That is why I asked for a screenshot.

Is this by chance what you are referring to?

Rick, how can slide names be messed up by changing a master slide? I am sure that it is a terminology issue here, but I do not see a link between slide names and master slides?

I was working under the possibility that when the OP said "Hidden Titles", that possibly the slide names were what was being missed.
Just tossed out the screen shot to confirm.

thanks for the help but do you notice the Placeholders in the timeline, I think these are the cause of the issue. how do I get rid of them?

You are using the Master slide Caption, did you edit that master slide. It is indeed strange that you have Placeholders there without any timeline? That means you cannot select them in the timeline for deletion and that they are not on the stage neither. It feels more like corruption of the project in that case, probably due to the fact that you are working on a networked drive (or external HDD?).

I did added buttons with links to the Caption slide, but the corruption happened even when I was on my hard drive

Can you explain, please? The Caption Master slide can normally not be jumped to, so I am really confused by 'I did added buttons with links to the Caption slide....' . You added buttons to which slide and what were their actions? Or did you put a variable in the header and change the value of that variable on each slide? I was thinking about that, but your slide label cannot be used, it has another content than the header you want to have.

I'm sorry I'm preparing for the meeting but here's a screenshot of the master slide that I used as you see I added buttons to pages within the project

Those shape buttons, for navigation, do not have any interaction with the Headers. Did you fill in the Headers IN the placeholder or did you put it them in a separate text container?
Another idea: can you check the Header in the previous slide, and check its timing? Is it perhaps set to display for the rest of the project?

I didn't do anything with headers, and all of them are set to Rest of the Slide

here's the screen shot. The header should be Sentiment Shapes, it messed it up with another header

Hi there
One troubling thing I'm noticing is this:
I'm guessing that Z:\ refers to a networked drive?
If so, that might account for some of the erratic behavior. When I facilitate Captivate classes I recommend that users create a folder off the root and name it projects.
For example: C:\Projects
And each project goes in its own folder.
For example: C:\Projects\1723_Social_Media
