Hot Spots Failure Messages

Hi,

I have a number of Hotspot knowledge check questions which each have three failure messages. However, some of them will only repeatedly show the first failure message. Any idea why? I definitely have three failure messages on the slide:

The tags show that you use CP9, which exact version number please? The latest update was to 9.0.2.437.

I have to double-check, because I never use the default Hotspot question myself but create them with shape buttons. There are several reasons but the main reason is lack of control and no partial scoring.

Installed that version as a trial version just now.

I created a hotspot question, but with 3 attempts, and the Failure captions (3) worked perfectly.

Since you choose Infinite attempts, I changed to that number, and it worked fine as well, until the 4th attempt. At that moment no caption popped up. I will try to verify now in CP9 if this is a changed behavior and be back (after lunch).

I checked in CP9 and it is exactly the same behavior: after the third attempt, no failure caption appears. This is very weird.

Some of the HotSpot questions work fine, and some have this odd behaviour where only the third caption pops up.
