How can I delete the same object from every slide all at once?

Hi,

so it's easy to add the same object to every slide -- just copy the smart shape or whatever you want to add, select however many slides you want to add the object to, and then press cntrl-v to paste.  but how do i do the opposite?

I don't think there is a way.  I will never have the same object on every slide, because in that case I will put it either on the master slide, or on the first slide, timed for the rest of the project.
