I tried to copy slides from a software simulation to another project. When inserting the slides, some of the content is moved and in incorrect places.
Anybody who has tried something like that?
I have tried to change the screen size for both of the project, but it doesn't make any differences.

Both projects need to have the same resolution. Can you check that? You can find it under Project info.
I hope you are talking about normal (blank) projects for both target and source file?
Can you tell which version you are using, please (exact number).

The to projects is not the in the same resolution, but i tried to change the screen size, so they where the same, but there are still some misplacements of the content in the copied slides.
I am using captivate 9.

Please, what are the resolutions of both projects. I would rescale the project from which you want to copy to the same resolution as the target project. That way you can first see how it rescales. When you copy/paste you'll leave the rescaling to Captivate. Do both projects use the same theme, are they 'normal' projects? Which exact version number please? Latest version is 9.0.2.437.

The target project has the resolution 1680 x 1050, while the copied slide is 1928 x 1048.
I have already tried your suggestion, but it isn't working yet.
My version is 9.02.1.

The width/height ratio of the two projects is also different, which makes everything a lot more complicated of course, especially with a software simulation where each background slide is static. Not a very well prepared project I would say, but that is off topic.
The target project has 16/10 ratio, but the software simulation has a very weird widht/height ratio. Who did decide to capture at such a resolution, don't understand. Downscale the software simulation project without modifying the aspect ration to a width of 1680, the height will then be about 892 px. Activate Rescale all object, but you'llhave to check each slide. Normally in a software simulation you'll not have a lot of objects (depends on mode of the simulation, which you didn't tell). Resulting height is smaller than the height of the target project. If you copy/paste to the target project, the software sim slides will fit horizontally but they'll be put at the top of the slides. I would cover the bottom part (height = 1050-892 = 158px) with a shape. Another approach with a knockout master slide has been explained here:
Create and Use a "Knockout" Master Slide - Captivate blog
Please, next time, try to prepare a project: choice of the correct resolution is one of the most important decisions. Even though you only used one downscale, you'll always lose quality.

The problem is still there - it's for example in the simulation where something get typed in, like in the address line i a browser or something like that. After copying the slides, the typing parts are moved into very wrong places in proportion to the rest of the slide.

That is why I asked about the mode. The added object sare Typing objects (demo) or TEB's (assessment/training) and they will be rescaled, but can be moved while rescaling. It will be a lot of manual work to fix that. The start of the project was just very bad practice, try to see it as a learning experience. Captivate's normal projects are bitmap based, any rescaling for bitmap always results in this type of problems especially with the rather complicated work flow which Captivate has to do when recording slide-based software simulations. I wished someone would dare to calculate the total number of hours lost by users who never had any proper training for Captivate. Sorry for the ranting. I gave you the best possible work flow I'm aware of. Normally I would never rescale any software simulation but in your case since that simulation has been made with such a big resolution and such a weird width/heigth ratio, there is no better work flow except making the target project the size of the software simulation, not the opposite way. If the software simulation is just a demo, save it as a mp4 and insert it as a video in the target project. But then you'll lose all interactivity, this is not possible for a training simulation nor an assessment simulation.
