How do I load a file onto captivate to begin editing?

I cant seem to get it onto captivate.

I downloaded it from drop box, but not sure how to actually get it on drop box.

Captivate it open.

Sorry, don't understand your question.

Do you have Captivate installed? Which version?

Are you talking about a cptx-file or a cpvc-file which you donwloaded from dropbox, but are not able to open with your version of Captivate? You can only open a CP-file which is created with the same version or eventually with a previous version. If the file that you want to open was created with Captivate 2017, but you have Captivate 9 or earlier installed, you will not be able to open this file.

The file is cptx. I downloaded it off drop box and I it shows up in my download file.

However, when I click on it , I get this image and can’t figure out how it actually gets to captivate?

Does that make sense?

You cannot attach images, you have to use a button to insert it in the forum reply:

Are you sure to have the same version of Captivate installed? Did you try to open first Captivate, than use the Open button and browse to the file?
