How do i pre-set or ensure that the video demo i record for vimeo or youtube will always be 1080 quality?

I am trying to record at 1080 on Capitavate so that they stay just as clear and sharp when uploaded/published to youtube and vimeo. When i view locally, it looks great, when i see it on youtube, vimeo, it is blurry.
