How do I remove the echo from my published video?

An echo appears in my audio after the project has been published to video. The echo is not present when I preview and I have tried exporting the audio and redoing the slide with no success. I am at a loss as to how to remove the echo. Any guidance would be appreciated.

This is usually because there are two versions of the same audio clip playing on that slide.  One file might be playing at the slide level while another is attached to an object on the same slide.

Go to Audio > Audio Management and look through the dialog box to find the name of the audio clip that is playing on this file.  See if you can find it mentioned more than once.

Hi RodWard.

I have tried the Audio Management and nothing appears duplicated. I have already looked through the library as well to check for duplicate recordings. I also tried removing the space before a recording which was also recommended.

This is after you export the project to MP4 video?

Yes. This only happens after I publish to video. It also occurs if I

publish to html.

a few things I have learned about the echo issue:

Your project size should be no larger than 1280 x720

When publishing the video do not do anything else on your computer.  If you are using some other program it seems to interfere with the publishing.
