So I've got another question, and I've got a feeling i'm going to be pestering the Captivate community on here quite a bit.
I want to add a state to an image, which would enlarge it when it's clicked.
I've already added a new state, set the image to the size I want it to be, but when I preview the slide nothing happens when I click on the image. I'm aware from your very own help pages that I need to activate it, but this option you tell me to use isn't available to me.
I don't have that option to set the action of the object state available on my Captivate page. See below;
So how do I activate this state, or any state for that matter????
Any help would be greatly appreciated because those help pages really don't help a noob as inexperienced on Captivate as me.
Thanks

I know, sighing, Help is awful not only for newbies.
Look, out of state view, with the object selected for a blue circle with a white arrow in it, to the right of the + buttonn (which adds a state). AFAIK you'll need a cickable object to change the state.
I blogged a couple of times about states, here is one link:

Hi Lilybiri,
Thanks for getting back to me. I see the blue circle in the white circle, but it's greyed out. I'm going to assume this is because my image is not a clickable object.
Do you know a way for a participant to enlarge the image as it's a table needed to answer the question. Storyline didn't allow tables to be imported, so the workaround there was to turn a table into an image and then you were given an option to add a zoom option on the image, allowing it to be enlarged if clicked upon.
Is there something similar in Captivate?

Captivate has a Zoom object, but I would prefer to use a shared or advanced action to show a better quality enlarged image. Of ccurse, they call me the 'Advanced actions Queen'

So how do you implement a shared or advanced action?

I think you are on a quiz slide? In that case the only interactive object that can be used is a shape button. You can turn any image into a button (maybe use the thumbnail image?), explained here how to do that:
Turn an Image into a Button - Captivate blog
You can use that shape button as a toggle button to show the enlarged table image and to hide it again. Toggle actions are really easy (I use mostly shared actions),,look at:
