NOT a Fluid Box style project. I fear this may be a simple question with a simple answer, but I cannot find an answer via Google for the life of me. I have a Master Slide I am using, a results one to be specific, that I need to translate into Brazilian Portuguese. Either via some magic translation feature or via editing the text, but I need it as a new saved Master Slide so I can apply it to many Captivates. I will still need an English results slide to apply to my english projects. I was able find something called the Master Slide veiw, but I cannot edit any of the text there. Just move around textboxes and buttons.

Master slides are part of the Theme. I would create two Themes: one for the English version, one for the Portuguese version. If you use Software recordings, you can even set up the default labels under Preferences. The Quizzing labels are als part of the Preferences.
If you showed a screenshot of that specific master slide, I could point out the workflow more in detail. The Results master slide has both text fields and fields containing the values of quizzing system variables. Easier to explain when I could see your master slide.

Above is the slide in Master Slide view, you can see I duplicated so I could attempt to edit the text, but I cannot change the words at all.
Here is the slide again but translated and in the Project. This text is changable, but it doesn't change the Master, so I would have to re type out the translated text on every project.
This text (You Scored:, Maximum Score:, ...) does not have default labels to be editied in Preferences [as far as I can tell at least]

Localisation for quizzes has always been a pain. Due to my multiple feature requests some labels (like the Progress indicator) were added to that Labels page, but you are correct about not having those on the Results slide. Same for several buttons.
The problem is even more enhanced because you cannot use an object style of the Quizzing category for a standard object, and it is not wise to delete embedded objects like the buttons on the Results slide because they 'bear' the functionality.
For the first column on the master slide, and for the Title I use these steps if I want to use the default Results slide (which I often hide and use a custom results slide).
The Title and the first column are captions, using respectively the style Default Question Title and Scoring Result Label. You will not be able to use those styles, so get familiar with its setup:
You will see that I didn't translate the button labels. I have tried several workflows without success: cloning the Quiz button style so that the text has same color as the background, and I could put another text on top didn't work. But it is a lot less work just to translate those buttons than to translate all of the results slide.
As I probably already wrote before, master slides are part of the theme. You could save a dedicated theme for each language, but will probably also have to export the Preferences and import them since lot of the labels are in the Preferences.
Not a complete answer, but at least a partial one.
