Hi all,

I have a normal slide (no quizz) and I need to export a user var created by me to the LMS system. Is it possible?

Thanks!!

It depends on the LMS. I could see the value of user variables, but learned in this forum that it is not always the case for all LMS's.

So, any suggestions or alternatives?

Many thanks in any case!

Perhaps you could offer a little more detail about WHY you want to save the values of these user variables.

What is the purpose?

Yes, of course.

The purpose:

in the main slide the student has three sentences to click on. Every click moves to another slide but only one of the clicks is the correct answer, so I must to create a user var (for example "score") for every click and change it from 0 to 0+1 or to 1 and I need that this score be countable on the LMS. In this case I cannot use the quizz slides because I need to edit the contents and the behaviour of the slides in some aspects that this type of slide doesn't allow.

I do not know if the explanation is really clear, I'm sorry.

Thank you, Rod!

In that case, why not use shapes for the text containers, convert them to buttons and they can have a score which can be transferred to the LMS. Seems to be a lot easier to me.

I agree with Lieve.  Use Scored Buttons as your correct answers and then you won't need to worry about user variables, which would have been very difficult to get back out of your LMS as reportable results anyway.  You can name the Interaction IDs of the scored buttons to help you find them in the LMS reporting.
